Dance
After graduating from Ohio University with a BFA in Dance, I danced for a season with Dancentral, a professional modern dance company under the direction of Robert Small in Columbus Ohio. Unfortunately, Dancentral ran out of money in the spring and could no longer pay its dancers.
An audition with Dance Alloy, a modern dance company in Pittsburgh directed by Elsa Limbach, resulted in a job offer, and Pittsburgh became my home for the next several years. In addition to performing and teaching with Dance Alloy, I choreographed a number of works for the company, and also for performances at independent venues.
Many of the works in which I appeared have been lost to history (very typical in the world of dance), but I've included below a sampling of those for which a video exists. [Sorry about the video quality - we didn't have access to high-definition video formats then!]
I'm still in the process of adding some additional videos...please stay tuned!
