I designed this invitation for the opening night performance and reception for the world premiere of a new work by Miriam Hervé-Gil on the Dance Alloy's subscription series.

Miriam and her Paris-based company, Compagnie Hervé-Gil, came to Pittsburgh as a part of the New Europe Festival. The work she created for Dance Alloy, as well as the piece her company performed on the same program, were deeply rooted in late-1920s Paris.

The Art Deco era strongly influenced the movement style, music, and costuming for the two works, and I tried to bring that inspiration into the invitation. The invitation opened with a couple of folds to reveal the full invitation and response card.
